Lurgan Young Men’s Society – Programme 1881

Lurgan Church of Ireland Young Men’s Society.

1881 – 1882 Programme.

The First Meeting of the Young Men’s Society for the coming session will be held in the Shankill Buildings, on Monday evening, 3rd inst., when the election of office-bearers and other important business will be proceeded with. The attendance of every member of the Society is earnestly requested. On the following Monday evening the annual soiree will be held in the Town Hall.  The arrangements for the soiree are of the most satisfactory character, and it is hoped that the parishioners will attend in large numbers to manifest their interest in the Society. The coming session promises to be a highly successful one. In former years the greatest difficulty was experienced in filling up the programme, and the session was usually far advanced before it could be got into the printer’s hands. Not so this year. Already the programme has been completed and printed, and a most attractive one it is. We give it in full.

The meetings of the Society will be held in the Shankill Buildings every Monday evening at 8.
