Lurgan (from Irish: an Lorgain meaning “the long ridge”) is a town in Northern Ireland. It is located in the Province of Ulster, in the County of Armagh, in the Barony of ONeilland East and in the Civil Parish of Shankill. Shankill parish consists of 26 Townlands.
